Train the trainer Business For Mission

We invite All Nations workers (hub or field workers) to help our church planters to become self-sustainable and use business to make disciples and plant churches.

To accomplish this, we have developed a train-the-trainer program where you can be a trainer/coach and train/coach others in starting businesses that helps to plant churches and start movements. Our goal is to have 20 people involved in this program. There are three steps involved:

1) Attend the Pioneer Business Planting training in Capetown – Monday September 23 till Thursday September 26 2019 (few days before the Global Gathering)

In this training you go through the Pioneer Business Planting training and teach some of the material at the same time.

The training is an intensive, interactive group four day learning experience. The first two days focus on the idea that God is the Owner of our business, that work is worship, the sacred/secular divide and how to use business as a means to extend the gospel. The last two days are focused on finding a good business idea, leadership, problem solving skills, setting up a businessplan, funding, ethics, customers, marketing, budgeting and many more elements of starting a business. After the training, the students are able to develop/write business plans and have the tools/knowledge to start a business. The training is very interactive with an emphasis on experienced based learning (games and activities) and storytelling (graphic curriculum).

The Pioneer Business Planting training has been developed and improved since 2012, given in 30+ countries in Africa and Asia and out of that 200 viable businesses have been started. Read here a story on how Gibson is using business to make disciples.

2) Make a plan how to train others

During the training and after you will develop a plan whom you are going to train and who you are going to help to start businesses.

3) Online Zoom calls every two weeks in group of 5/6 people for 6 months

We coach and help you to implement the training and teach others by focused group coaching. We use the following format:

  • Prayer
  • Reports / Review – What is happening with the leaders and in the businesses that are started? What are your challenges/victories?
  • Assignments/input/tips
  • Encouragement/Correction
  • Plan
  • I will statements: what do you feel God is saying to you that you should do with this?
  • Prayer

After the 6 months coaching you will be able to train and coach others.

Whom should attend?
