Evaluation and monitoring

[Pro 27:23 NKJV] 23 Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, [And] attend to your herds;

[Dan 11:33 NKJV] 33 “And those of the people who understand shall instruct many; yet [for many] days they shall fall by sword and flame, by captivity and plundering.

[Pro 24:3 NKJV] 3 Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established;

[Hos 4:14 NKJV] 14 “I will not punish your daughters when they commit harlotry, Nor your brides when they commit adultery; For [the men] themselves go apart with harlots, And offer sacrifices with a ritual harlot. Therefore people [who] do not understand will be trampled.

We are striving to evaluate and monitor our movements and businesses.

Purpose

  • Serve the local church planters and leaders to evaluate the growth, maturity and sustainability of their churches and businesses.
  • Provide insight, tools and coaching to accelerate what is good and strengthen what is weak.

Why is evaluation and monitoring important?

  • Helps us to see if we are on track fulfilling our vision and mission – making disciples and train leaders to ignite church planting movements.
  • Helps us to identify what to pray for.
  • Helps to see victories and rejoice (encouragement).
  • Helps to see where the problems are and how to deal with them (identify setbacks).
  • Helps what to focus on in the churches/movements.
  • Helps to identify whom to train.
  • Helps to vision cast for new areas to reach.
  • Helps to share stories with others (also donors).

Process

  • Leaders create an engagement plan once a year on several indicators (e.g. People groups they want to reach, amount of churches they aim to start).
  • Leaders within the movements measure qualitative and quantitative indicators of their churches and businesses all through coaching relationships. They do this once a year.
  • Coaches and local leaders have access to the information, so it can be used in the movements for coaching.
