Pakistan
Pakistan, a nation of more than 240 million people, is home to a small Christian minority comprising just over 1.3% of the population. Many within this community experience systemic discrimination, economic marginalization, and limited opportunities for social mobility—particularly those who have chosen to follow Jesus Christ as a role model for their life. Due to restricted access to education and dignified employment, Christians often find themselves in low-wage and physically demanding work, with few pathways toward advancement.
Business for Movements seeks to address these challenges by empowering believers and emerging leaders through Kingdom business development. By equipping individuals with the tools to build sustainable enterprises, the initiative restores dignity, strengthens families, and creates pathways for long-term economic and spiritual transformation.

Key Leader
Emmanuel
Emmanuel encountered Christ in 2002 through a life-changing experience with the Holy Spirit (Daniel 11:32b). He later completed his academic and theological studies in 2015 and has since dedicated his life to developing leaders of integrity and purpose. Emmanuel now directs faith-based initiatives that combine spiritual formation with sustainable development.
His work focuses on building self-sustaining Kingdom businesses, equipping disciple-makers, and ensuring that transformation reaches households, churches, and entire communities. Emmanuel’s leadership continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the BFM movement in Pakistan.

Program Approach
Our initiative focuses on identifying individuals with strong entrepreneurial potential and a commitment to biblical values. Selected participants receive:
- Business and entrepreneurship training
- Ongoing mentorship and coaching
- Access to microfinance opportunities
Through this practical support, participants learn to launch and grow small businesses that honor God while meeting real needs within their communities.
Launch in Pakistan: 2024 Milestones
In 2024, Business for Movements launched its inaugural Pioneer Business Planting training in Pakistan, marking the beginning of BFM’s long-term presence in the region. Key achievements include:
- 61 Disciple-making leaders trained in foundational business and entrepreneurship principles.
- Five local Pakistani leaders co-led the training and are now fully equipped to reproduce it independently.
- Appointment of a seasoned local business leader to oversee coaching, micro-credit processes, and long-term program sustainability.
- Six business plans with complete budgets prepared for launch, with additional enterprises expected in the coming months.
This initiative integrates faith and entrepreneurship to strengthen Christian communities facing faith-based challenges. By establishing Kingdom businesses rooted in honesty, stewardship, and integrity, participants are empowered to support their families, disciple others, and become catalysts of transformation.
