“My vision is to raise 1 million leaders-encouraging everyone to dream big and start small.”
This was the heart of Arjit’s message during the Pioneer Business Planting training in India this February, where 25 participants from four different states gathered to learn how to integrate business and ministry for lasting impact.
Arjit’s journey began years ago with just 20 rupees in his pocket. Facing hunger and uncertainty, he trusted God and started a small handmade crafts business. As his business grew, it not only provided for his family but also funded his ministry. Today, Arjit inspires others by sharing how business can be a powerful tool for both provision and outreach.
During the training, participants learned practical skills like budgeting, planning, and building business models. They explored ideas such as goat farming and aquaponics, discovering how simple businesses can transform lives and communities.

Miracles and Impact
The training was marked by both miraculous healings—like a woman who regained her hearing after a lifetime of silence and a man whose eyesight was restored—and by deep personal transformation. Participants left with a renewed sense of calling and practical resolve.
Attendees shared that they learned:
-
- Business can be a form of worship and a powerful tool for ministry, opening doors to reach the unreached.
-
- Ministry and business are not mutually exclusive; they can and should go hand in hand for greater impact and sustainability.
-
- Practical skills such as budgeting, planning, and using tools like the Business Model Canvas are essential for launching and sustaining businesses that support both family and ministry.
-
- Self-sufficiency through business helps church planters avoid dependence on external support and withstand challenges, including persecution.
As a result of the training, many participants expressed a renewed sense of calling and purpose.
They plan to:
-
- Participants have developed a complete BMC for a goat business, exploring opportunities like selling meat, milk, cheese, ghee, paneer, and manure as fertilizer.
-
- Start or expand businesses in their communities, using what they have learned to support their families and ministries.
-
- Teach others in their networks how to combine business and ministry, multiplying the impact of the training.
-
- Apply biblical principles to their work, seeing every business interaction as an opportunity to share the gospel and serve others.
-
- Become “superspreaders” of hope, practical knowledge, and faith—helping others to dream big, start small, and trust God for transformation.
