Train 40 church planters in Mozambique – Reaching the unreached

From June 20 – June 25, 2022, our team will train 40 church planters in Maputo, Mozambique on how to start businesses and how to become self-sustainable while they are planting churches.

Mozambique has 29 million people and is among one of the poorest countries in the world. Common reasons are the lack of education, young women being married for wrong reasons and the many children being orphans. In most cases, parents who are often ill cannot send their children to school. The youth and children are the ones who work to provide for their families.

We want to train and support the leaders of the churches, women, and young people, to start their own businesses to support themselves and use business to reach out to the unreached in their area. The people we are training have a heart for church planting and unreached people groups.

Project in Mozambique started in 2008, and has been helping the children to be able to go to school. Our leaders have planted a network of around 40 churches with a group of 16 leaders. Our target is to plant new churches among the unreached people groups in Mozambique in the North.

The great challenge for many women, youth, and leaders of his churches is to support themselves. Many of them may have too little income to feed their families. With project Mozambique we want to train and support the leaders of the churches, women, and young people, to start their own businesses to support themselves and use business to reach out to the unreached in their area.
